Clear Bra for your New Beetle

Just got a new car for the shop.
We love to work on New Beetles.

I would like to get a clear bra for my NBC, but not sure who or what to look for in the Kansas City area. Do most shops that do tinting and such have this? What should I expect to pay (approximately)? thanks for your insights.

A question

Last weekend i helped a friend take off their checkered roof.

It had been on for roughly 3 years. After it was taken off (Red car) It looked as though the roof had a pink/red checkered paint finish. My instant thought was the sun had de-colorized the red.

How will the clear bra affect the paint ?

The check was white, so didn't allow for the sun to penetrate the vinyl. I'm curious as to whether the clear will allow the sun through. My gut feeling is it will to an extent. Obviously not 100% filtration, but enough to make removal unnoticeable.

The clear bra wont affect the paint in any way.
It will fade the saome as the rest of the car.
By the way we now use Avery Nano-Fusion film on our cars.

Unless your paint is brand new why waste the money? I find these clear bras look like crap after a few years, and paint work isn't THAT expensive compared to having this done.
