Lightbulb "How To" Light your Bud Vase.

Supplies

Pair of pliers.

Torx screw driver #15

quick connectors(little snap connectors)

Electrical Tape.

APC LED license plate bolt kit. (contains 2 LED's)

Flash light
.
extra pair of hands

Flat head screw driver.

scissors or knife to cut tape.

hot glue gun (optional)

First step.

Go to Pep boys, Murrays, Pro AutoParts, or what ever local auto parts store you have and pick up a package of APC license plate bolt LED's.

It comes in a nice little kit and they have built in resistors so that the LED's match the factory light out put of the dash lights.

Step Three.

Remove bud vase and bud vase holder.

The bud vase unscrews just grab firmly and give a twist to the left and pull out.

Grab hold of the bud vase holder and pull firmly straight towards you.

Step Four

Drill hole into the bud vase holder to pass wires thru.

Step Five

Use both LEDs

Pass wires thru the hole and either use a hot glue gun to firmly secure the LEDs in the bud vase or simply leave them loose.

I used the hot glue gun but once I finished realized it is unnessesary to secure them as they do not really move around.

I DID NOT DRILL A HOLE IN THE BUD VASE.

others recommend putting the LEDs directly inside the Bud vase but this method does not require you to do that and still lights up the vase perfectly.

Step six

Wrap the loose wires with electrical tape to make them easier to pass thru the dash board and to keep the wires from tangeling.

Step nine and ten

Put wires into dash board.

and pass them under the steering wheel and up to the dimmer switch.

It is helpfull to have a freind lay on his/her back under the dash board while you pass them the wires.

I would also recomend having a flash light handy as it is extremly dark back there.

Step Twelve

Turn on Lights and see if everything is working properly.

If all is good put the dimmer switch back in the dash board, reattach the panal under the dash and place your bud vase back in its holder.

Last and Final Step

Take pic and show them off on the org
