Default Styling considerations for a Dark Blue NB (Photoshoppers Prep your mice!)

I have a 2002 Marlin Blue New beetle Turbo. And I absolutely love the Blue/Purple look. But.... I'm getting antsy to do some changes to it and I have noticed most of the styling changes on cars are done to the lighter color NB's and not the dark color ones. For obvious reasons.... it just stands out more!

I'm looking to do some Interior styling first. Then some Exterior styling (cuz this usually costs more). I'm looking at anything and everything. Wheels, setting off my spoiler and adding one, body kits, Interior accents/additions/changes.

I realize adding light colors would be the best choice, but when I visualze it the color contrast is so drastic that I don't want to make my car look worse! Or just cover up the nice marlin blue color. I'd really like to carry the marlin blue to the inside, but in a classy not gawdy sense. If you know what I mean

So Photoshoppers "Pimp my ride!",
I'll try to do the same, and offer stock pics to mess with.

There are so many pieces of this car that can easily snap out...the ends of the passenger handle, the handles on the doors, the inside console, the piece above the gauges, they all come out easily. See if you can some paint from the dealer to match your car and sand all those pieces down and paint! Then it brings the outside color to the inside.

I finally put some effort in learning how to change the color of the picture without effecting the light accents. I think this looks pretty professional and close to what I want the car to look like for the Color Concept look for a Marlin Blue.

Still debating on whether this is the color I want to settle with for the color inserts on the seats and side panels. Tell me what you guys think. More to come later...

I always thought silver was a nice complement color to Marlin Blue, IMHO

I can help you out with the PhotoShop end of it. It'd be great if you could email me the full size pictures. AScottToney@gmail.com

LOL ROFL.... well I would like to treat my Beetle nice and park it in a garage. I'd have be build a 20 foot tall barn with 2 doors to open up to get that thing out of the weather! lol

Can you imagine taking that thing to work or parallel parking that thing? Or maybe I can just roll over all the other cars to take my spot LOL hehe
