VW Emblem for front hood

I'm having a slight problem with the VW Emblem on my front hood. It seems to be peeling, it's dented... it just looks horrible from exposure to weather and road conditions. Does anyone know how to remove the emblem safely without damaging the car? Have you done this yourself before? And where can I buy a replacement one? How can I put it on?

I took my front and rear emblems off to repaint them...here's my how to thread if you wanna check it out.......

I actually had to buy a replacement for the front emblem because it cracked when I took it off. I got mine at the dealership, but that's only because I couldn't find one on Ebay for an '06. I would say your best bet is Ebay though!

Have you thought about euro emblem's (blue & white)? Those are hot too! Just a thought........
