Default Golf Interior?

What all is involved in using a Golf rear seat? I had always wanted to do this, but never attempted it. Then I see the ad in the for sale stuff with the GTI interior, and I see that it indeed can and has been done. Thought about asking there but didn't want to hijack the for sale thread.

Anybody know?

It looks as though the bottom cushions will fit, but that there is a new beetle (reupholstered) back. Front seats will fit fine.

Dunno..

I know the fronts will fit and work properly (as long as the donor car was a 2-door), but I don't know about the rears. I heard years ago that the Audi TT interior was a 100% direct swap, fronts and backs.
