I'm in the same boat.... Those are the ATS sideskirts, which rumor has it is NLA.
There's Visage
and Caractere
and all the funky ebay ones like the EVO, BCN1 aka Buddy, and the Wings West side skirts.

Japan seems to have all the good choices, but it's really hard finding anyone who will ship them to the US. (I have been trying for a while now)
Lots of stuf to drool over here: Fob-Schrank (Thanks to Billsbug for link)

Can anyone else chime in with some other options? (or a way to get the goods from Japan)
HTH!

man whats the chances of getting those over here? anyone know a ball park price range?

ive been talking to a chinese vw parts importer that might could help us out if there is any interest, and depending on the price of course. he helped me source a chinese spec bora r front bumper, like the R32 bumper. price was only $1300 before shipping to the states. ouch!

darkstar, how much do you think shipping would be to the u.s for some skirts from japan?
anyone know any authorized dealers. ive emailed my importer guy, ill let you know if something good comes from it. i mentioned to him a few people were interested so he may swing us a decent price. but i doubt its the price of the skirts to be concerned about, shipping costs. arrrrg.

First things first... If we can find a distributor that will ship to the US, then we can begin working on getting a group buy going, then shipping charges will be calculated on if we can ship bulk to the US, then distribute from here, or if they can ship one by one directly; although I would suspect that route would cost significatly more.
I have reached out to a couple local tuner shops with connections in Asia, so we'll see what turns up next week.

ok he said give him some time. bummer, yea i know. but if by some miracle this goes through affordably, id be happy to include anyone that wants to get in on some of these hot skirts.
shipping on multiple orders once the freight arrives in the US could be tricky. well just take it one step at a time.

keep you guys updated.

doesnt seem like anyone is interested, but..

click on the fob-schrank link above by darkstar, the sportecs are on the red bug.

i dont have any definate answers or prices. but my fellow dubber in china has located some sportec side skirts, and has sent email to the local shop there for some price quotes. he did ask how many pairs i needed.

if interested please state so, when i get an email back from him with prices/shipping quotes. we'll start on that task.

Hey guys, did u ask Koji at shop@bugsgogo.com if he can get them for you? Copy and paste the specific link to those s/skirts into an e-mail to him. He was able to get wheel well flares for me last month.

Koji said that the box dimensions were too large to be shipped. I've been trying to make this happen for over a month. International shipping is crazy from japan.
Which flares did you get? The same as Sakuramika?

evamph, You may have better luck with China but I would definitely make sure you know who you are dealing with. Many a scam, and poor knockoff parts...

Hmmmm, really, that sucks.

Yeah, I got the same ones, still in the box and unopened.

When looking at the picture of the Sportec's, it appears that it is a full overlay on top of the existing one; then again the reflection makes it look like it only starts about 2/3rds down. Kinda hard to tell without more pics.
At This Angle, I don't know if i'm fond of the how it looks at the front side (The upsidedown butt crack) But I must admit, that I have been checking that one out too.

bill i appreciate the pics. do you guys think that the sportecs have the angle like the vizage?

i just dont see the angle like the vizage has in the red beetle pic.
they remind me of a rsi or a clean mkIV votex, gli style side skirt, etc...

here ya go. if you want the skirts let me know, ill give you my friends email and let you handle your business.

・Commodity price 44,100yen($367.5) (including tax of Japan)
・UPS carriage 58,200yen($485)
・total 102,300($852.5)

In addition, when arriving, the tariff and TAX of USA are needed.

not as bad as i was thinking. for a clean set of skirts.

ive been quoted a price of 485 for a rare china spec bora r front bumper(hopefully its not a replica), and if shipping is near that price i think ive changed my mind and would like to pursue the bumper instead.

i think you guys would understand.
