Need a new antenna
I don't know if this should be here or in the audio forum, but somebody stole my short antenna today, so I'm planning on replacing it with a sharkfin type of antenna. I searched the old forum and PHILthebeetle had a Phateon antenna on his NB. Has anyone else done this? If not a Phateon antenna, what type of sharkfin antenna did you use, how much $$ did it cost, and how do you like it?

I have the antenna from an Audi A3 Sportback. It looks great, but unfortunately the radio reception is crap (because it's not a radio antenna).

Thanks for the info. Unfortunately, most of the guys who participated in that thread don't come around here anymore. I'm going to keep looking, because like you and the rest of the NB owners who have sharkfin style antennas - I like the look. I could care less about radio reception, I don't listen to it anyway.
