Center Armrest/Console; what to get?

The wife loves her '99 GLS Bug, automatic. However, the cup-holders are useless except for shot-glasses. And the stupid plastic pieces break.

I've seen a center armrest on eBay but not elsewhere. Anyone using one? Where did you get it? What are good options?

There's one on eBay that you can add a cup-holder piece to it. She didn't like the door mount options. Anyone have any good ideas on a product they liked? This eBay one is $40 to ship. Yikes

I have an OEM one. The '99s didn't come with one from the factory?

It was probably an option. The 99 center console is garbage. I can't put anything good in the cupholders. I would kill to have an 07 console refitted for my NB.

No, no armrest. Cup holders are small and tucked under the dash. Stupid design.

Haven't seen interior pics with one factory.

If your looking for the center armrest console, there are aftermarket ones you can purchase that work nicely in NBs that don't otherwise have one.

I had one in my 98. I believe I purchased it from TVA.

if nobody answers, maybe the question hasnt been stated properly. maybe use photos of what you want or dont want. If you feel it was the thread placement as the issue, than you have the ability to delete the old thread and start anew.
