radio code

Does anyone have a master code to get the radio out of safe mode? I bought my bug used and the previous owner never gave me the card. I looked under the trunk mat and the door jam to no avail. I am trying to save money before I go to the dealer.

I ended up calling the closest dealership to get mine. They'll ask you for your VIN number, and if the radio is the original one that came with your car then that code should work. I called them on my cell and tried it out when they told it to me. It worked perfect.
