Default Hood Emblem And Wheel Lock

O.K. I haver done a search and I get all these post with 10-100 pages and I have search through as many as I ca to no avail. I know this has been covered before but how do you remove the front emblem. And once you do is the hood flat or is there an indention underneath. While I got this here I found out today that my lock nut removal tool for my wheels is gone. Can I pick one up from the dealer or will another bug owners key work?
Thanks

There is a indention in the hood and boot where the emblems go.
You will need to do some filling and painting to be able to shave the emblem.

The tire tool, I believe, is one of 7 or 10 patterns. Your parts department at the dealership might be able to help you out there. I had a friend that worked in the PDI Department of our local VW dealership that had a set of them because he was also working on lease returns and auction VW vehicles, so he had to routinely try each one out to get the wheels off.

I know my wheel lock dissapeared once. I went to the dealer and i told them exactly what pattern i needed. They were so imporessed, that gave it to me for free.

And don't be thinking that i know ebvery number stamped on every peice of the car. This was a special number. 53.

The stealership wants 44$ to remove them. Local tire shop said they would take them off for nothing when I get my exhaust done.

I had a mechanic at work that had a set of extruders. Took me 10min to pull them off and for free on top of that. Now I just need to paint my calipers and mount the new wheels Among a list of other stuff I need to find time to do. How far are you from me?
