There's always some that take things too far. But most of us are happy to be somewhere in the middle. It's the natural bell curve if you will.

As you've already witnessed last week; there's penalties that come w/that "livin' low" thing.

There were 2 at Roswell, 1 yellow and 1 cyber green. Both TDIs I think.

I've made a couple adjustments to my stance over the years and finally settled on something between a 2.25" and 2.5" drop. Just low enough to get the front wheels slightly tucked under the fender well. The rear I've left at 1.7" to help give me a bit of room for luggage and passengers.

Well I prefer to keep my oil pan intact and holding oil in my engine. I dont know how you lowboys (and girls) do it. Lots of rocks, pavement chunks, and "snow/ice boulders" end up on the roads up here in MN. Not to mention all the other road debris.

Lifted makes the car easier to get in and out of for a tall guy like me, you dont have to worry about curbs or railroad crossings, or big speed bumps. And it makes the ride better instead of worse like lowering.

Sure a dropped car looks cool, but its totally impractical for a daily driver. These Bugs are low to begin with. I cant imagine lowering one anymore.

Whats the stock ground clearance...maybe 4.5"? That wont even clear a pecker.

Mine has several looks. Haha.

I've got the 4x4

Or the low and slow...

I also have front down/rear up or front up/rear down or side to side and I can three wheel.

There's no way I'm going lower. Just last night I drove over a dead opossum & I heard him hit something. Not loud but I still knew I clipped him And then there's getting up & over the curb at the bottom of my driveway I would like to be 1 1/2 - 2 inches lower but it's just not practical
