Default has anyone painted their lower dash?

just curious to know, ive seen the mods done where people painted dash pieces (speedo rim, middle concole, handle bar sides etc.) but i was wondering has anybody tried painting the bottom dash.. like the part under the steering wheel, glove box, and the center concole (where the shifter is) that normally is grey or beige... ive seen posts where people want the all black look for the interior but i was wondering instead of looking for parts has anybody just painted it and how did that work out?

i painted my center console and lower door panels black. the plastic is really soft and maybe i didn't prep it right or something, but the paint scratched off pretty easily. i was always touching it up. but i think that it looked sweet.

I haven't painted my glove box, or the part under the steering wheel, but I did paint the tranny tunnel trim, which was once tan, but now painted black.
