Side orange lights from Turbo S bumpers

Hello America!!!

i can see that it's a very common modification on your car in the U.s. to go from the orange or red color for the side lamp, to clear/crystal color instead.
which in most cases makes it look much nicer.

as i have a Sport Edition model of the Beetle which is the same exterior body kit as the Turbo S, i also want to change my side orange lights to those crystal ones for 2 reasons.

first: my car's color is silver so silver+orange= not really good

second reason: when i drive fast (or not) on the motorway here in France at night, i don't want people to be able to recognise my car from behind thanks to those bloody orange lights!!!
whether they are cops lack of money, so they want to give you a fine
or
some not very clever people that for some reason decided to race with you and never let go, just because you have a nice bug and they're jealous..... yep lots of jealous people over here.....

so i really want to get those crystal plastic parts ASAP!!!! and i'll add red bulbs inside so all the lights are red at night.

the thing is: apart from that Japanese web site, which is VERY expensive ( 153 € euros for the 4 crystal parts!!), i have no idea where else to find this accessory .....

so if anyone can help me to find or already knows a cheaper/better place to buy them, i'd be so thankful

i've been looking around a bit , different posts, and i can see that many people would recommand that japanese website bugsgogo.

i have to say that i still find the 4 crystal markers expensive (153€, so prolly around $175 american dollars)

when you consider that the 4 genuine orange parts at VW cost 75€ total so more or less $85 american.

by the way i want to thank Evanrude so much for his help on that post Side marker light fell out!

Did you try ebay, cause if we are talking about the same thing, I just some on ebay and I paid 10 bucks for them plus 16 for shipping and htey are clear corners

Just order two sets of clear rear corners for a normal beetle on ebay and that will fit the back and the front bumpers

are you talking about the rear corner markers on the back bumper? I've got a set of clear ones of those and i WANT orange ones! I saw them once somewhere awhile ago and have not been able to find them since. If yours are orange and not red, I'll trade you!

well if you are really looking for orange corner lights, they are not hard to find here at VW and the price is ok : about €20 each so around $ 25 each.

the only problem for the exchange is: if i send you mine how am i going to drive until i receive the new ones?

the only way to do this would be : i buy orange ones for you from VW and you send me the clear ones! so i can keep mine and drive normally

2 questions though: first : where did you get you clear corner lights from? and what price?

second: are they in good condition? both left and right parts available?

i will still need to get another set of crystal parts to make it complete (front+rear)
