Default Help with wheels please?

I just bought some ADR-79 battle rims from someone local and they are 5x100 18" x 7.5JJ but they came off of a 2005 acura tl and i dont know how to find the offset on the rims... on the back it says "ET48".... but i have no idea.

and...
what size tire would be best for my beetle? they have Nitto 555's 250/40/18 on them at the moment. but i think they'll scrub the shocks or something.

also...
how can i get studs for my new rims...
and how do i know what length to get if my bolts for my stockers are too short?

sorry to ask so many questions and im probably confusing the crap out of you guys but thanks for everything :]

Hi there neighbor. Jacksonville checking in

Here's a thread that will be most helpful with your offset questions CLICK HERE

When you get your wheels and stuff situated, you need to hook up with the crew here in Jax for a GTG.... We're a pretty good bunch

Welcome to the org and don't be a stranger

"on the back it says "ET48".... that's the wheels off-set, +48... as for tires 225/40-18 is the size you are going to want to run... the Beetle doesn't use whell studs, it uses lug bolts... if you didn't get any with the wheels then head down to your local tire/wheel shop and they will be able to hook you up...

Thanks for all the help guys
I found some 235/40-18 tires on craigslist... Will those work? At least until I can save up enough for the 225s?

And scarab! Omg I have seen your beetle that's so funny. It's a small world. But I love what you've done with her

Also check out http://www.edgeracing.com That's where I got Cup's wheels. They're based in South Florida. I got the tires here locally- Big Chief Tire. I don't know what they're asking on Craig's list, but you never know... Edge Racing.com might be the same price and maybe cheaper.

OMG you've seen me around? I hope i at least waved or flashed Cup's lights. Do you come to Jacksonville often? You can usually find me on Jacksonville's southside M-F. If you see me, flash your lights and wave. Maybe I can make a quick U-E (U-Turn)and meet up for a hello and a few quick pics of our bugs We need to get you to come to one of our GTG's. Yeah, it's a small world indeed. And thanks for the compliments.... Cup thanks you

I'll keep an eye out for your Daisy.... Oh and you too. Check out this pink-trimmed nB CLICK HERE. She's awesome and will be a big help to you.

I'll have a link in my signautre in about an hour to click for Local GTG info.
