Default Looking trailer hitch info

Ive been searching through the forums looking for some trailer hitch info:

Im looking a hitch that is LOW profile.

Someone had a pic that showed a reese-brand hitch that did not have the traditional 1.25" opeing, but a slot. Its was tucked up pretty good. Id like to find out the modle number as I cant find it on the reese website.

Also, the 1.25" hitches....of those, does anyone know which of these tuck up close to the bumper the most?

Any pics would be great!

thanks guys and gals!

etrailer.com, look for the Hidden Hitch. Got one for my xB, all you can see is the reciever. 1 1/4 inch receiver is what I got, don't need to haul much. So far all I have hauled is a tray with my son's derby car on it.

The hitch with "the slot" is a Reese Shadow Mount--it's very tucked--does not mount anywhere below the factory tow hook--does have 3 other mounting points, but not to the bottom of the spare tire well, like, IMHO, less impressive designs.

Default thanks

Thanks for the info guys.

Ive ordered from etrailer.....got my hitch for my Mazda3 from them. It was nice and tight to the bottom of the rear bumper of the 3, but alot of the hitches Ive seen on bugs have hung a bit too low for me.

I want the hitch to hug up close like the one above. Ill see if I can dig up that model.

Thanks for the help with photos and the name of the product.

Chris
