If you don't find anything up there, there's plenty of JoAnn's in the Buffalo\Niagara area.. best one is on Niagara Falls Blvd, right off I-290... not sure what part of ontario you're in, but thought I'd share the info anyways (ah. looks like your car dealer might be in Hamilton... so not too far, if you happen to be in the area sometime, i guess!)

I finally got around to doing the trunk tray today Doors are going to be next week when I get back from Vegas ....

The glue needed:

Measure the fabric needed:

Spray the area and let the spray sit for a minute or so until it is 'tacky':

You'll have to poke a hole for the string to go through, and re-tye it under neath:

The finished product (before going back in the car):

In the car

Thank you very much
I went to the sale rack at "Fabricland" and there was quite a few patterns I loved. This one matched my red exterior and pink HK interior items
Next I have to tackle my doors and cover up the fabric on there w/ this fabric!

LOL! Yes I have HK everywhere ... I even had custom HK vinyl graphics made for my exterior. I have a friend who works for a sign shop, I threw out an idea of what I would like and she made it for me and I just received it today in the mail I have to wait until warmer temps to install it. Next week after I get back from vacation I'll be busy. I have a new chrome grille to install, plus i have to work on the doors, and maybe install the graphics (depends on how warm it is)

First I have my custom HK plate frame on the rear of the car

Pink sparkly front plate frame & cover:

HK decal on rear window:

My keys are HK:

Here's all my HK pillows inside the car:

Steering wheel cover, Gear shift cover and E-brake cover

Even my wii is HK:

Thank you I love HK way too much. Have you been to Build-a-Bear lately? They had the 35th anniversary bear that you could stuff / dress and they were numbered; so only a limited # are available. I got one
The wii cover/remote covers were from ebay.
I get a lot of my HK stuff from Ebay. I even have the matching mats for the front & rear of the car, but those are for the summer. Right now I have clear mats on top of my "Versa" carpets for the winter.
I'll post more pics of the mods as I go along

Question for the headliner gurus. Did you use any kind of padding on the headliner itself? I noticed on the green car, Robyn said she padded her door cards, but there was no mention of the headliner or pillars. Just curious. I'm getting ready to do the wife's car. We picked up the material today. Thanks for all the good info.

I used headliner material that had a slight foam back. I HIGHLY suggest not using the brush on adhesive, but the spray on kind. It tacks up better and I had great results

I agree.

For mine, we took the old headliner out, scraped off most of the foam residue with putty knifes, then used steel wool to get the rest off. came off perfectly!

Then used heavy duty headliner adhesive from autozone.. sprayed it on the headliner board at let it tack up. we decided to also do a super light coat on the fabric itself as well, but that may not be strictly necessary.

If you're using a fabric other than headliner material, if it's decently thick\heavy, you probably won't need any other foam backing stuff.

Guess it's a matter of preference. I used brush-on contact cement and had great results. Keep in mind I used tweed upholstery fabric, that has no foam backing vs. headliner cloth. But I see what you're saying- the spray-on is the norm for headliner applications and you should be fine.
