The stock status on our website is actually live, as of right now, it looks like they are currently in stock and ready to ship. The numbers are getting lower, so I'm not exactly sure how much longer they will be around. Once they are gone, it is likely they will go NLA (no longer available).

Just dropped off for paint today. Anyone tried installing theirs yet? I hope to get it done this weekend if not for anything to pass inspection. Hoping that the claybar kit comes so I can wash and wax, but I doubt it.

Votex bumper installation; how-to,

How to: Fit a Votex front bumper - New Beetle Owners Club

How is everyone shaving their bumper? Paying to get it done or doing yourself?

Thanks for the link. I forgot that i have to put the front up on jack stands. (where are those again....)

My brother suggested wrapping the indicators in vinyl. I'm not sure how it will look, but i guess I'll try it.

Update on the rear bumper... The price has dropped on the rear bumper, however the lower diffusor section is NLA (no longer available).

Awesome Price but,

Where can we get a rear diffuser?
Getting the bumper without it is kind of pointless....

Would be interested in the rear, but am wondering abut shipping. Prior to the price drop the shipping was about $100 cheaper to my location than it is now. Not sure about how businessed do their shipping, any reason for that?

I would guess most their profit is from the shipping. You could just check on Fedex on how much something would cost to ship. $100's of dollars is a little high.
The company could actually give them away for free and then make it up in charging a lot for shipping. This happens all the time. Bottom line: if the total price is what you feel is good then buy.

Jon,

Is the shipping calculator correct for the rear bumper on the website? I ordered the front bumper last week and shipping was about $100. When I checked on the rear bumper, shipping is $250? I would imagine the front and rear bumper are the same size to ship?

Why is it so much more to ship the rear? If shipping was the same as for the front bumper, I'd consider the rear bumper (even with the missing diffuser).

Thanks.

Eric

I just talked with the parts guys regarding the shipping. The rates should now be adjusted to be in line with the front, when the pricing was edited and the rear diffusor removed, weights got goofed up. Our apologies for the error, but shipping large items like this is extremely tricky, and very easy to loose money on very quickly.

Unfortunately I'm not sure where a rear diffusor could be sourced, they are listed as NLA through our sources.

Thanks for the order! These are moving out quick at this pricing, so we don't expect them to be around too much longer.

I'm so thinking like you. I just wish I had the cash to do what you're doing. For the price, it's worth buying and storing for later projects
