Does anybody have any harvested pics of Casper 99 Cool White Bug?

Every now and then a single pic of his car is on the home page.

He has the votex front bumper w/o a shave....

Were talking old school 2006 stuff. Sadly the pics don't work on his thread:

I have seen your car evolve over the years and I have to say it is one of my favorites. Your car was the first time I saw this bumper set up. Just saw a pic b4 I got mine and was in love I assumed back then it was some hard to find euro Turbo S bumper

Sorry, I was wrong.

The pic was a side shot of supercaspers car.

Its not a votex kit, its a whole lot of something else....

It's been awhile but for those who remember me...

Default cybergreen unshaved votex

Working at a new place for the week
This was in the parking lot.
Sorry for the terrible cell phone pics. It was super bright out and I couldn't see my phones screen at all. Only had 3 seconds to take the pics.

Yes my cell phone camera sucks, its -4 megapixels.

Yep, it's official, I hate the front corner turn signals on the Votex bumper. I think because my car is Platinum Grey, I could maybe pull it off, but the thing is.... I don't want to "Pull it off". I am gonna have the signals shaved. I talked to the body shop, that I will be having the work done at, and they said it wouldn't be any issue. They have done this type of stuff before, and know about the bumper issues of expanding and contracting. I am totally not worried about it anymore. I know what kind of work they do, and I have seen several custom body jobs and paint work that they have done to custom Hotrods. I am sure they can handle my Beetle. I still have no idea of the cost yet, but whatever it is, it will be worth it. I did like the painted housings but I think, for me I will just bite the bullet and do it ALL the way.

I'm with you Joanne. Looking at the shaved units compared to out of the box units, for me, the shaved units are the way i'd like to have mine. But that's just me

Forgot about this one.

Does this thing have votex side skirts?

It didn't look as bad in person as the pictures project it to be.

thats not grey paint on the rear bumper, its a thick piece of plastic/urethane.
what type of bumper is that?

yes those are votex skirts. Thats just an OEM rear bumper with an insert. I forget who makes the insert right now.

The small round lights next to the headlamps are turn signals correct? The reason I'm asking is because I had the big turn signals shaved on my Votex bumper, so after connecting everything, the small round lights did not blink when I turned it on. But when I turned the switch on for the high beam, the small round lights turned on. So, it acted as on additional high beam? So, now I don't have front turn signal lights. Can someone help me figure this problem out.

If those are votex sideskirts, which the long part of it does look like, it also have those rock chip guard things on the fenders too, I think.

Not a jaw dropper at all. Those bumpers look so weird without the diffuser.
