Ok so these are in no particular order but I wanted to post up my personal collection of pics of NB's running Votex parts. Some don't have complete kits, and some aren't doing a very good job of pulling those parts off, but it will still give people an idea of how this kit looks on different colours, running different wheels, etc.

I have no right to any of these images so if you own any of them and want them removed for some reason, no problem. If you have found any pics I haven't posted here please add them.

No Turbo-S pics please!

it's really the only way to pull that nose off... it doesn't flow well with the side markers, they look like an after thought...

This is really what the factory bumpers should have been. What we got is just "ho hum".

I still like the Caractere kit the most, but the Votex is sweet.

I tried navigatine beetle.de, but had no success.

More pics with the turnsignals in place are needed, not enough samples to compare the with vs without argument.

That car has the Votex hatch spoiler.

Yeah in over 2 months this is all I could come up with for a collection of pics. This kit was extremely unpopular in North America, so VW liquidated it for a reason. We'll definitely be seeing pics of cars running the turn signals in the next few months but the mounting setup for the turns is very cheap and crappy. it looks cleaner without, no real debate there.

That's it. Over here in Europe "our" Votexbumper doesn't have any sidemarkes. Just the turn signals Though our Turbo S (or Sportedition) bumpers do have sidemarkers.

Maybe this thread ist the right one for my question:

Are there any differences between the Turbo S and the Votex rear bumper beside the sorroundings of the rear fog and reverse light have a different thickness. Is the overall height different? Is that correct or are my eyes playing tricks on me?

The height of the recess looks the same but just judging from pictures I'd have to say the recess on the Turbo S bumper looks deeper.

would that, in essence, be the proof needed to argue the pro-without stance?

if there are no pictures, there must not be many people who leave them in, therefore the general concensus is that they are not attractive.

This is a very nice kit, sucks for the people that were originals and paid top dollars for these pieces only to end up in a lot of cars now since the ecs blow out pricing

Got another question Is the Turbo S bumper "higher" than the Votex one (overall height)? Or the othe way round: Which one will have less ground clearance whith the same coilovers/lowering?

are there any complete side pictures? This kit looks like it extends the nose and rear bumper out more. I'm still on the fence about it. It looks great in silver (IMO), but I just don't know if I like the front and rear bumper sticking out as far. Kinda makes me think of the duck face (kissy lips) people do in pictures now. I don't know....but a full on side picture would be nice so I could see the difference from the stock bumpers.

I just went through a few pics and I would say they both look to have the same ground clearance. The bumper looks to sit just a bit lower than the rockers on both bumpers. The blue vert with the tan top above is basically side-on even though the outer holes are shaved and the rear bumper isn't Votex.

It is. My friend has an S and I've stared at his bumpers for a long time. When I get mine on I'll take some comparo shots.

I'm getting the kit installed and painted by my local dealer since they have a proper bodyshop and have installed a few of the votex kits before I'm sure. Is shaving/filling the turnsignals something any bodyshop could pull off?
