Question Need a little light help!

Anyone know if the following would fit&function in a 2001 NB?
I can tell the site I've been using is a little unreliable, so if anyone has a better one with parts to browse I'd be grateful
Anyone with a ballpark estimate for installation costs would be greatly appreciated as well (as far as modding goes I'm a car noob )

Euro Black Corner Lights by Custom Headlights Tail Lights

Euro Black Taillights by Custom Headlights Tail Lights

Volkswagen Beetle Spyder LED Third Brake Light - Smoke - BL-CL-VWB98-LED-SM by Spyder Headlights Tail Lights

Help & answers are greatly appreciated

you should be able to perform most if not all those mods yourself...even if you're only minimally mechanically inclined.....

if you can locate a bentley service manual for your car, explains how to do basic maintenance on your car.....

unless you'd rather just pay someone....but it should be pretty cheap as these are really easy mods....

good luck....

Sorry I am new to the forums so I just saw your post, but those lights that you have selected are pimptastic! Most of the installs seem pretty straight forward, but I am not sure what all you would need to get the HID installed. Post pics in your ride when you get everything installed, maybe even before and after shots!

A.

Headlights you have selected require much extra wiring...

Anyone tried these headlights?

also check the link I added in that thread to the DFW forum for how Walt figured out the wiring.

I bought black bezel headlights for the Jetta I used to own, and knowing that theres only two or three companies that make these style headlights so all the mounting is going to be about the same.
With the connectors, you shouldn't have any problem. They are usually just a plug and play. On the other hand, the trouble I had with the jetta was they changed out all the Bulbs on me, so I had to run to the auto parts store and buy $60 worth of bulbs (turn signals, city lights, fog lights, and high/lows). I'm not sure about your bulbs since you are getting the Halo. the thing I would do is e-mail the folks selling them and have them tell you what bulbs they take, so you don't end up driving a week with no lights like I did. I would even check out the bulbs for the marker light. I had to buy new bulbs for that too (same bulb but different color), but you never know when they put "Euro". I've found that that usually means "expect to pay more for bulbs".
And as far as the physical mounting. you shouldn't have a problem. It's all relatively the same.
