Default tail lights

i have been wanting to replace my tail lights since one has changed color.. goin on ebay there an add for some.. it says for 98-2005 NB but the picture clearly show a 2006 model

now am wondering as anyone try to fit the lastest model tails on an older version and did it fit proper

'cuz i'd rather have the 2006-10 version of tails.. they are y far th nicest on the market theses days

thankx

The taillights from an 06+ model will not fit a 98-2005 beetle. It doesn't look like it, but the headlights & taillights are actually larger and more ovular. Just to be safe, i would keep looking around.

Btw, good eye to notice it was an 06+ model pictured!

If you like the look of the 06+ tails but have an 98-05 you could go for the Euro style - not exactly the same, but more of the look you are wanting:
