If you plan to keep the car the best advise I can give you is buy the Bentley manual, it is definetly worth every peny. If you have tools and are handy with them, this manual would be the best addition to your tool box.

Depends what year you have whether you have to take the front bumper off. Mine had to come off when I did it. It was a pain in the butt, and that's simply how it is. When you have to screw down, that's the only solution unless you wanted to move several parts in the engine.

Remove wheels, remove wheel liners, remove 4 nuts, 2 bolts, 1 screw from inside each of the wells, remove 2 screws from under the rocker panels (each side) remove screws from under the lip of the bumper cover, remove all screws from around hood area that secures the bumper cover and wings, then remove bumper cover and wings as one piece. I did it by myself, but would have been a lot easier if I had another person with me.

And like they said above, year of car will determine if you have to remove bumper cover or not.

Yep. Mine is a 2000. Get a Bentley, or even a Haynes explains how to do this.
Refer to palmetto's post otherwise.

Yes dear, it's a manual. You can order it online, since I have yet to find it in a store around me.

Good luck.

Thumbs up

Here are sources from whom to acquire a "Bentley"

Bentley

From the printer direct $139.95 + S&H
Find My Car *-* Bentley Publishers - Repair Manuals and Automotive Books

$79.95 Free Shipping (Out of stock 01/05/2010)
https://www.discountbooksale.com/p44...nvertible.html

$79.95 + S&H
http://www.partshaus.com

The bottom two are the cheapest place around to buy one (I've scoured the web, trust me)! Forget eBay and Amazon.

Chiltons on the other hand can be bought everywhere, cheap, but not near as good, if you plan on doing all or much of your own work!
