Default GT3 GT500 or whatever they call it

Just purchased this kit, should be here on Tuesday. I wanted to be a bit different and by looking on the internet I can't find anyone who has actually built one - save for the green demo Bug on ebay and you can't count the red bug as it's been photoshopped. Has anyone else seen this kit on a Beetle? if so can you post pics? Or am I plowing new ground?
Bart

The red one is not photoshoped. That is a real kit. available on ebay.

The green one I heard you can't get the gas cover open without opening the rear hatch. Apparently the wing is in the way.

Good Luck

well the grill is photoshopped and the pic is touched up a bit, if you look at other pics of the gt500 (red bug) they do have a pic of an 05 that is obviously shopped.
These are the ONLY pics of this style I could find on the internet - except for a pic of the idividual pieces (someone here at the org was selling , he decided not to build it for some reason or another)

Anyone else seen one built??

The "touched up" red beetle is the only thing stopping me from getting the front bumper for my black beetle. I want a different front end but I don't want it to be any lower than the stock one since I live in Minnesota and it would probably be permanent. Can you please post pics when you get it installed and let me know if the front is lower?

fiberglass sucks. get ready for a lot of modding, sanding, smoothing, and hell.

Mikes VW Beetle pictures by grojas_01 - Photobucket

This might be the same kit. I don't think it looks terrible.... although, I just like when people try to be a little different.
