Unhappy Interior Replacements...

Hopefully I can get some direction in here...

Wife and I have a 2001 VW 1.8Turbo (green, with black/gray interior).

Some interior stuff is old, falling apart, faded, cracked, peeling, etc... and want to start replacing some stuff but not having much luck finding anything. Perhaps some of you can point me to a few sites as I am trying to avoid paying dealer cost for these things.

1. arm rest (black top, gray bottom). I found an all gray one on eBay...

2. center console (automatic) all gray

3. driver and passenger door panels (gray) electric windows.

Check the Fo' Sale section here, and really check the classifieds on VWVortex.com. There has been a rash of people parting out crashed Bug's.

Check your local salvage yard too.

Good Luck!

There are several in the salvage yards in my area but the good interior parts seem to go quick. So if you end up having to go that way check with them often or they may put you on a call list.
