Question TS Spokes on my GLX?

I just aquired a set of Turbo S spokes for my steering wheel (Thank you Ric!)

Question? How do I get the old ones off, without breaking them? And, before I even try, will the TS ones even fit?

I put a set on mine, they work great. The plastic ones come off...just pry them. Literally. Just be careful. But I had no issues getting them off. Getting the TS ones on can be tricky, but they screw on, which is nice.

The only thing about them...they are metal so they are really sensitive to temperatures. Super cold on winter mornings and hot in summer afternoons. But they look SO MUCH better.

Thanks! I pried, but was afraid of breaking them, and the TS ones not fitting. I'm on vacay this week, so it will be a little project. Thanks again for your help! :-)

They are metal spokes with slight dimples in the metal. Pretty nice really. No need to worry about faded paint anymore! Hard to get though. Only on the Turbo S cars.

They do take a little "persuasion" to get them off and on. I will post a couple of pics for you as soon as I am done refinishing mine. I like them better than new ones now as they look more brushed aluminum....a little shinier.

1 more thing Deb, I marked the 2 smaller spokes L and R. They are physically different by looking at them.

Thanks Darlin"! Yep, I need a set! Since these screw on, they should be available parts, not part of the steering wheel assembly as the standard ones are. Anyone with part numbers? Or Deb, maybe off the back of the ones you've got?
