I have been struggling with programming an after-market homelink unit for my Beetle. I installed one in my Jetta a few years ago, and love having that option for my three garage doors. I purchased one for the Beetle, and have had nothing but problems programming it.
Finally got it to work with my Genie unit, but still can't get it to work with my Wayne Dalton garage door openers. I have the Homelink installed in the Jett working with it, but not the new one. Anybody have experiences with Homelink and Wayne Dalton openers?? It's been so long ago, I can't remember the trick. Since I got it working with the Genie, I went ahead and cut my headliner and installed the unit. The installation went well, looks great, but I wish I could program the other two buttons. |
