Default Votex Rear on a Vert

So I been lovin this look and planning to do it on avert since I first saw J Owen's Red Votex Beetle on Vette wheels

I got a rear bumper a year ago and had the rear marker lights deleted..no valance. I found a set on here from a guy who is local. He sold me everything at the same price hepaid so it all worked out wonderful for me...considering Im stuck with a rear bumper and no valance still
Thanks again Sean for the bumpers...they are in good hands mate

Started tearing my car down to test fit and find out why it not suppose to fit. Crap load off screw later...

Test fit b4 trimming..

Trimmed a lil to match the vert ountour...

Test fit with fenders attached...it was still off inside the trunk at the mounting point with the fender so I had to trim more than I thought. The vert bumper is lower inside the jamb area than the hardtop so it still looks the same regardless of how much you trim away on the outside.

But needless to say it will work for all u vert owners who really want the complete votex look..or turbo s for that matter

Top work there

I know how hard they are to fit to cabs

Just to let you into a little secret, the red Bug in your first photo's rear fender. Isn't a Votex It's a V5 Fender. Votex never came with the rear markers

Didn't img tag it, as it's a large image.

Blugg..that bumper u posted is a smoothed custom beetle bumper. Is that the proper link?
BTW my 'votex' came with side lights jus like J owens has. Doesnt say votex tho...says original vw zubehor stamped inside.

They really could have ditched the NA light in the front.
