Default Boost gauge solution you might not have seen before

Ive had this idea for a long time and today i took the dremel and got to work. I hated the idea of a 3 gauge pod all along, because not everyone wants to spend 4-500$ in gauge work and thought to make a single gauge pod solution.

Well heres what i came up with. A single dash gauge pod, like the double HPA gauge pod that i cunrrenly have in my car and similar to bernt 3 gauge pod.

Let me know what you think, i might consider reproducing them if theres a demand for it.

a little dremel here and there a little plastic weld and some sanding and thats where i left of for the day. Still need some filling/ primer/paint and should be done. I think its a great solution for a single boost gauge which most of us need.

So what do you guys think?

I will not be installing this in my car (have a dual center gauge pod and dual pillar pod)because i needed 4 gauges, but i have painted other pieces in the same finish with great results.

One question if i may, could you follow up with where the lead from the gauge goes And would i be able to have a boost gauge on my 1.9 TDi

Thanks for the responses, this piece is currently for sale in classifieds.

I could make a right hand drive one no problem just angle it the other way, since the oem center section is the same in right hand drive cars.
