Default Sun Roof visor/shade

Anyone have one of these sunroof visors installed on their New Beetle car? Do they actually work?

I bought one for my wife's 2005 VW Passat Wagon when we bought her car new in 2005. These visors work really slick and they do NOT allow rain in while you are kroozing down the roadways. Best to buy one off eBay and install yourself. Dealerships want too much $$$ for the same thing. Hope this helps.

I have a visor and love it! It helps quiet the ride at highway speeds. Mine was easy to install and no drilling!!

I can't remember. I got it too long ago. I do know I didn't have to drill to install it. There was a clip on each side that clipped under the lip of the sunroof and you tightened it with the screw on the outside.

It looks like that or very similar. I'd go for it.
