only place I know of to get the ones with the wind deflector is the dealer. And they want alot for them. I put regular replacement blades on my bug and they worked fine. Plus I use rain-x

I think it is around $15 at the dealer and then refills are $2.50.

The oem wipers are the only ones I have seen that work well on the bug.

Cool

I installed the Bosch Evolutions, which look like (and work like) the "Aero" wipers on my Audi A4. These are bracketless wiper blades (also known as beam or flat blades) and are designed without the metal or plastic brackets, joints or hinges of conventional wiper blades. So now, snow and ice have nowhere to build up. These blades feature dual, tensioned steel springs in each wiper-blade, which distribute more uniform pressure along the entire length of the blade for exceptional all-weather visibility. Very nice!

ECS Tuning has them for about $28/pair.

Bosch, agreed. Bosch Icons - Bracketless, beam blades, excellent all season, like the old skool winter blades where the brackets were encased, only with these everything is encased without the brackets. Wind "deflectors". Haven't found better. Verify 21" or 22", I think my NBC uses 22"s. Most Corner Auto Parts Stores, some Wally Worlds, Advanced Auto Parts for sure. Each for about what you are used to paying for a pair.old skool Anco's etc. <$20/blade.

Btw, they are not actually wind deflectors, they are designed that way for the purpose of pressing the blade against the windshield, not to deflect the wind.
