Default Debating drilling front fender

Thinking about adding Votex/Turbo S indicators to the standard 98 fender.

Anyone know if all i have to do is drill out the holes and wire in an extension from the original indicators to the new ones. Thinking of getting Polo indicators. Would i need to make a brace/holder for the new indicators or would they hold in with a sandwhich washer on the front and rear
