Default A-pillar removal help?

Hi everyone. So I want to remove my A-pillar (I think that is what this piece of trim is called)and before I try it I wanted to know how it comes off. I don't want to break it. Does it just snap off? And if so, are there certain spots where I should pry underneath to prevent cracking or breaking? I used the search but all I could find were posts of how to remove the B-pillar. Thanks

(This isn't a pic of my actual car)
