Default Thinking About New Seats

Does anyone know where I can purchase new leather seats for my 01 NB GLS. Looking for some that have the SAME motion as the stock seats do haha!

Brand new? Not sure if you can. New to you? Try a part-out or junkyard.

Personally I think it would be cheaper/easier to get replacement covers for your stock seats from some place like Katzkin.

another possible option...swing into an auto upholstery shop to see how much it would be to repair existing seat covers (or replace, for that matter).

I recently had one seat panel completely restitched and another panel replaced on my 01's leather seats. total cost a little over $100, and the shop did some great work.

As far as I know, VW will not sell you a whole seat. You have to buy each part separately. Check out 1stvwparts.com they are very helpful on the phone and can answer your questions.

New for us, but in good condition is what we were thinking. The lady we got the BattleBug from made the interior look like carpet in a CO-OP on a rainy day. The carpet is actually in good shape, but the seats were gray at one time. Now they look terrible.
