Looking for custom hood

I've seen the cool custom hood here on the forums with the cowel (or inlet) by the aircleaner, and there's even one guy in San Diego, east county area, yellow beetle I've seen with it. So, where can I get one and how much are they?

nothing, it could never be directly linked to him and even after trying for a while, we could never track down the truck that hit me. In the end my insurance covered most of it and i picked up the tab for the rest. Crappy situation but it gave me a reason to make some changes.

in that pic they are joey modded (inside surrounds painted black) and i have angel eyes lit with red LED's. Currently the car has the surrounds painted red to match the body color.

That's the mod I'm looking for. There's a yellow beetle juts like mine, except he has this hood, and from the looks of it the Caractere body kit.
Anyone know how I can get that done to my hood, or know where I can buy one already done?

i have considered bernt hood because of increased air flow-got this pic of lighter color nb with dark color channels

it is wild looking

Dude you bite!!! but unfortunately you speak the truth, after spending hundreds of hours trying to come up with the awsome hood design the best i had still fell behind these two. Yes-those two are great looking-bhrifics and their's a yellow one on .org that also looks good.

What i dont like about bernt hood is way middle section of hood comes down to a point. If it was rounded be better.

I am going to work something out like behrific's possibly a little lower-i would like to go with two air openings but dont know how it would look.. Problem here is finding some one to do this.

Then Gilligan -its like having it done or getting a mod and then you dont like it. You know how that goes. Had about same thing happen to me.
