Question Stubby Antenna question

Hi People,

I almost always listen to my CD player so I was thinking about switching my antenna to a stubby one for cosmetic reasons but I have a few questions first.

How do you switch out the antenna to a stubby one? Is it easy?

What is a good length for shortness? IQ has some that are 2 inches long.

Any bad experiences with this? Can you recommend a good one to go with (I am going to get it off of Ebay)

Thanks!

The stock antenna unscrews easily, not much to it. People have said that the reception with stubby antennas is really crappy.

I swapped out for a Honda S2000 antenna which is shorter than stock with no problems...Reception is perfect

I got the JOM Aluminum Antenna Mast from ECStuning. Works great, looks nice. Not "stubbby" per se, but MUCH shorter than stock (1/3-1/4 the size) and quite aesthetically pleasing.

My reception is not too bad either. Little static in some areas but overall good. 2" length.
