Default Steering wheel options??

I was wondering if anyone knew if a 3 spoke steering wheel from an audi would fit on our beetles. I've seen a few swaps invalving the R32 wheel and also the 3 spoke wheels from the gti, however what about from an audi? The wheel itself look very much the same as the VW part. I really would like to get rid of the factory wheel from me beetle. It's really ugly and could be more comfortable as well. Thanks!!

I believe there's a very high probability, but I can't say I remember seeing it done.

It might not be plug-and-play, but since it's built off the same MkIV platform as the New Beetle, I can see it working out. I did a little search, but couldn't come up with someone who has done the swap thusfar.

You could always just stick with the GTI or R32 swap, if you're desperate to get rid of the stock steering wheel

Its not that I don't like the GTI and R32 wheels, it's just that there seem to be alot of audi wheels on Ebay for much less money and include the airbag. One is listed for $150. I was mostly looking for a cheaper way to have a better wheel. Plus if it did fit, it would be more unique.
