Default rims? I NEED UR HELP!!

Hey guys, im interested in purchasing a new set of rims, and i thought that maybe since i have a black NB that black rims would look kinda cool...but i dont want to buy black rims, slap em' on, and wind up regretting it. Does anyone have any pics of black NBs with Black rims? Feel free to also post pics of black NBs with other types of rims too...

Thanks!

I love my center painted black on my Volks. Next step is to get color matched DPE wheels.

Try www.tirerack.com you can try tons of different rims on a Beetle of your colour. http://www.tirerack.com/upgrade_gara...1&autoModClar= will take you straight to the beetle page.. just choose black and try things out. Hope that helps.

Found these on The VWVortex classifieds.

VWVortex 5 x 100 wheels

These are 17" Ariettas. I think I was very lucky to get them. Very close to new with barely used Michelin Pilots

Tire rack and Edgeracing.com both have a ton of wheels to look at. TireRack.com has a great website as posted earlier. A lot of imformation and reviews.

Ones choice of wheel colors is of course subjective but black wheels on a black car will allow for no contrast and will likely look very unattractive, the yellow Beetle posted is of course not a good example to judge from.

Thumbs up

Subjective yes . . . I personally think black rims on a black NB are SWEET! With some colored (pink, red, yellow) calipers I think it would look hot! JMO

Someone else here on the Org has a Black NB with Black rims and polished lip. It was in the old forums. Dont remember who he was. Check the Show me your wheels thread on the old ORG forum. My idea on posting my wheels was to see how they look with a polished lip.
