I don't know of anyone, but if you are thinking about it - you might want to check and see if they fit the 2006 (I'm assuming you have a 2006 because of the 2.5 thing). I know the headlights are a different geometry from the old ones, but have never actually attempted to measure them.

I've noticed on eBay that there are starting to be signs of 06 aftermarket goodies. In particular i saw lighting trim. I saw daisy outlines for taillights for the 06, but they didn't see to have been designed too good.

Good luck on your hunt!

I don't know how it'll look on the 06, but that's my sleep lil bug right there.

I love how those specific lids make the NB look stoned. My next lids for sure.

Can't speak for the exact ones that 2.5Beetle pictured... but aren't most of the aftermarket eyelids painted or chromed plastic? They're most likely flexible enough to fit '06's (especially with a little heat, if needed)... but you'd certainly want to test 'em to be sure. Hence, buying on eBay might not be your best bet unless you're sure they fit.

Flexible?!?! The new headlights are a new shape and the lids aren't rubber. It won't fit, just hold out for the quality lids, they will be coming very soon, I guarantee it.

Where they hell are my 2006-look taillights by the way? Come on China...! Hurry!!!

hehe stoned beetle... hehe

Steinola, I know that mine feel like solid chrome. They nick, too, and have nicks in them from install... deep ones, so I am rather certain that mine aren't plastic/chrome plated.

They might be plastic; but as far as I'm convinced it's a metal/chrome or solid chrome. Mine were also over $130 in cost; which makes me THINK I got real chrome... so if it is plastic, don't tell me!!!

Your miles may vary, though.
