Default VW Wheel inserts where do I get them????

I would really like to have the vw inserts on my wheels but I don't know where to get them. When I bought the wheels I asked and they said there is some sort of lawsuit or something going on and he couldn't get them. Can someone help me please.

My wheels will be coming with blank centercaps, and I was hoping to get a vinyl shop to cut some VW logos to stick on. Illegal?

Ok, what you want to do is measure your centercaps and order the closest size at the dealer.

You then have to find a way to get the metal domed emblem off of the VW centercap (we just used a dremel and went at it from the back).

Then just epoxy them onto your centercaps with the centercaps off the car and on a level surface. The domed emblem isn't going to fit perfectly on your centercap, so the epoxy is going to be building up the centercap either in the middle, or on the outer edges, so be careful how much you use.

My friend is rolling on a very OEM-looking set of BBS-lookalikes from doing this, so it does work, it just takes patience and a whole lot of dremel cutting wheels

Oh.. and beer helps.. it was a bit of a late night doing them.

Epoxy will for sure, it's really strong stuff, just make sure you rough up the surface first.

If the centercaps are the standard pop-out kind, I was just thinking, chances are you could order OEM ones to fit, since they make them in a LOT fo sizes.

So I went on Ebay and ordered a set of four of the correct diameter emblems for $16.
Thanks Porkchop. That sounds much better price wise.
What phrase would I use to get a good search?
