Where to buy gold trim

I've been looking online all over the place for gold trim. I have been able to find some chrome, but not gold colored trim, except for two places:

These places, especially the first one expect you to buy at least 100' of the stuff. I certainly don't need that much. Does anyone know who retails this trim?

Also, maybe I should ask this question first, what do people think about gold trim on a salsa red car?

Uhm, so is that a no, it wont look good?

Well at any rate I found some gold door trim at an auto parts store, as well as some gold pinstriping, all rather inexpensive so I can experiment with it.

I also picked up a can of gold spray paint and gold tissue paper as they called it at the craft store. The paper is really thin sheets of gold colored plastic.

I'll see if I can do something with this.
