Default How do I have my name removed from member list

Besides never checking this site again how do I have my name removed from the member list. I will check back later to see if anyone can help with this but it will be the last time I ever visit this site again.

Aside from getting banned, you'll always be a member here. I think I have a good idea of why you don't want to stick around. I read the thread this morning. You're not the first one he's rubbed the wrong way. Don't let his 'holier than thou' attitude cause you not to come around anymore. We're not all like that!

I just felt attacked with my thread VW dealership not very nice. First the guy said if I could afford a new car every 3 years then I could afford a 250 oil change and then when I replied with the fact I couldnt afford it he pointed out how stupid I was and how much I am paying for my car. First of all I KNOW how stupid I am for buying the car and not keeping my 03 BUT I wasnt asking for someone to make me feel worse I was just pointing out that I thought dealerships would treat the customers better than this.
What ever I am having a really hard time lately--its not "them" its me. I just feel so stupid already. I did not need this on top of it.

Dont anyone ever let you feel stupid about your decisions. I leased a celica on impulse once. I decided I wanted one and two hours later, I had one. A few months later, my hours were cut at work and I couldn't totally afford the car. I enjoyed the car I had while I had it, although the payments sometimes made me hate it.

I lease cars....and to some, thats a huge waste of money, but in reality, it works for me. I don't go near my miles and the car is ALWAYS under warranty.

Dont EVER feel stupid. Life is too short!!! And don't let one person here affect how you see the rest of us.

I'm sorry. I haven't read the thread nor do I know who you are talking about but don't let one person's hurtful remarks make you not want to come back and hang out with us. For the most part, everyone here is very very nice, friendly and helpful. That's why most of us have stuck around so long. If you really want to leave, then non one can make you stay, but I would like to tell you that you definitely experienced a rare thing on this site.

And to answer your question, I'm sure if you contacted one of the mods they may be able to remove you for the member's list.

Only one of the admins, not the mods, can remove someone from the membership roll. I would like to ask you to reconsider.

Always remember you can report a post. If you do that, the mods can discuss this and take appropriate action. That's what we are here for.

To report a post, go back to the thread in question, go to the post in question and click on the little yellow triangle on the post on the right hand side. This will send the post to the proper mods for review. If you feel this was an attack, state your reasons why and we will look at it.

For those of us that have been here long enough to know Porkchop, he is a very nice guy and very willing to offer help people out. I'm sorry you took his post the wrong way, and I can understand why you did. He is also very anal about financial matters, so please don't think he's on the attack. He just has a very consumerist attitude about things involving money. A lot of the members know each other quite well...either in person, or just online thru this forum and sometimes sarcasm is too freely exchanged....I plead the 5th on that, too.

Don't feel bad.. Same guy once neg rep'd me for not knowing or having access to hot topics and posting "controversial" material. Some people are just abrasive like that. Don't let one person ruin it for everyone.
