Camping/RVing Section Under Hobbies?

I don't know how much interest there would be in this subforum, but my intuition tells me that there may be several New Beetle owners out there who are also active either in camping or RVing. I know that there are several members of AirForums who also own New Beetles, myself included. For some of us, our New Beetles are our fun cars when we are home, while for others, the New Beetle tags along behind an Airstream or Argosy Motorhome. I have also seen New Beetles tagging along behind motorhomes of numerous other makes.

I camped out of mine during a 4 month road trip a few years ago. I know there are others that use their Bugs as transportation when escaping the grind!

Question, though... where do park rangers go to "get away from it all"?

I used to camp as a kid with the family .. now I crave that free lifestyle again! My dream is to own a van camper - small enough to put in the driveway but roomy and comfy enough for me. I have priced them and they are very high - higher than some winnebegos.
