Default Unlock the HID Thread

What good are moderators if they just lock stuff?

That thread had a lot of good information in it, but a few people disapproved of drop-in kits and spoiled the thread.

Can one of you mods please do your (volunteer) job and clean that thread up so we can continue our discussion?

Thanks!

SMG

The original poster of that thread asked for it to be closed. Unless he asks for it to be reopened, we generally do not reopen it for someone other than the original requestor. I believe pdoel did his job. You might consider contacting the original poster and asking him to ask for it to be reopened.

I agree with Su.

This thread appears to have been closed at the original poster's request.

If you wanted it opened again, the original poster will have to contact the moderator staff and ask to have the thread cleaned.

I dont understand why it got closed in the first place. I made a couple of informative (however somewhat dissenting) posts. But certainly nothing that I thought should result in it closing.

I hope that in a few weeks when I get around to doing a write-up that it wont be cleaned-up, deleted, or closed just because I disagree with someone else's methods because they provide poor light output and a hazard to other drivers.

This thread was closed at the original posters request.

It was also cleaned and re-opened at his request.

They felt that the thread would be better off without the "bickering."

End of story.
