Different way to display new posts?

Is there any way to display all posts from newest back? I typically hit 'new posts' and scan every new post from the last time I logged in, but occasionally I end up refreshing the page, etc. and am only able to see the last 15 minutes or so worth of posts.

I even went into the advanced search to see if there was a way to search purely by date but couldn't find a way to do it.

Other forums I'm on display all posts in reverse order with a marker showing when you last logged on.

This should be an option in your User Profile...

Under User Options look at the Thread Display mode..

I tried a couple of options, but it still only shows posts from the last time I logged in. I did see this in the page you mentioned:

"The administrator can also set up the forums so that each thread you read is marked in the database. If this option is set, then new threads (or threads with new posts) will not be marked as read until you have actually read them."

I think this is what I'm looking for. It will at least show messages older than my last login.

Yeah I believe we use that method currently.

Alternatively, go back to Advanced search and look for "Find Posts from" ... I think it help you.

I tried the 'find posts from' under advanced search, but it requires something in the search field.
