Independent Shop Sticky?
To help new owners, could we put up a sticky with shops that we have found helpful? Granted, it would be with a 'use at your own risk' disclaimer...but this could be helpful for new owners, and owners traveling outside of their home areas.
A similar mechanics list exists on TDI club, but not all of them like working on gassers.

I would second that, (if anybody in this backwater would join the org besides me) to know who's good. My Husband isn't shy he talks to NB owners when he sees them and asks them about service and etc. Orgers?
