The bulb is in and working! Everything is back together nice 'n' tight and nothing broke (Thank God!) Boy am I glad I take after my father It took a lot of WD-40 and a lot of wiggling of the headlight. My pointer finger on my right hand is looking kinda rough from trying to push the lever, though.

while going thru my garage in the last week or two, discovered my copy of the 'old' headlight replacement how-to i printed and filed away years ago...

don't remember who did it (bugmod, maybe?), but i've found it useful a time or two...

posting it again for the good of the order.

There's no apostrophe before an 's' when you're talking about the plural version of a word. "I took some neat photo's!" is NOT correct.

HELP!! I am trying to replace my headlight and I cannot find the lever everyone is talking about. I've looked at many "how tos" as to how to do this....such as this one http://www.cindyli.com/site/comments...ht_replacement and i still cannot find the freaking lever!
I have an 05 tdi, is there something different about this year/model that a lot of the "how tos" are different from what I need? Someone please help! It will be much appreciate by me and my Tinkerbell!
