There's no apostrophe before an 's' when you're talking about the plural version of a word. "I took some neat photo's!" is NOT correct.

That's right!

Oh and I forgot....I'm hoping that the particular headlight assembly is only a few years old that maybe I wont have too much trouble getting it out. That would be awesome.

OK...I was wrong. I needed to take out the older headlight housing. Annnnd I could only get the lever 3 quarters of the way up. I think mine might have the tabs that need to be released...I couldnt find pics of them. I really did try hard but I didnt want to break anything. I even cut my hands all up So...tomorrow we're going to the dealership to get ripped off. I was told it will take 45 minutes...which I know is bull because I watched my dad change my other one and it took him all of 5 minutes once he figured out how to get the housing out. So any guesses at to how much money they're going to screw me out of?

I think you have the same ones I do Amy. You can get them out! There are two things that need to be done - a tab pushed in and a lever pulled up. I can walk you through it, I think. I've done it before.

I know. I got the tab pushed in and the lever would only go up most of the way. From what Toms how to said, it's supposed to go up all the way to the top of the plastic piece it's seated in?

Rock the lever back and forth a little and it should go. It's probably just old and stuck. Some of them can be a real PITA to move up. Mine was kinda hard. Keep trying, I think you're close.

Also, get some gloves on when you do this!

Nope. This time I tried the side that didnt need to be changed and it went up all the way without any problem. The one that needs to be changed is only going halfway

Ya, I hear on this Amy, I ended up breaking the tab on mine and got to buy the part with the tab besides having them do the bulb (brought my own bulb, LOL) - so, at this point, I'd stop while being ahead and if the part breaks, it's on their dime, right?
and the dealer was kind to me and only charged me $30 to fix (including the part).
I had gone thru everything like you have - at some point it's just too maddening - even after asking my father to see if he could move it - no go.
Good Luck

Hey Beth!
I actually tried one more time with the help of my best friend's husband holding the flashlight (Vinny is no good at this for some reason. He always ends up blinding me lol ) and I was able to get it out. I even had my hair (which has gotten pretty damn long...it's down to the middle of my back) all in my face
The bulb is in and working! Everything is back together nice 'n' tight and nothing broke (Thank God!) Boy am I glad I take after my father It took a lot of WD-40 and a lot of wiggling of the headlight. My pointer finger on my right hand is looking kinda rough from trying to push the lever, though.
