I am trying to find out the procedure on checking the fluid in a manual 6 speed transmission and how to add to it if need be .
Is there anyone who has done this or has any information to share .

First, it takes a special tool , used to be just a 17mm hex but they changed it. Look underneath the tranny you will see a plug that has a star pattern recess with a nipple in the middle (safety torx I believe they call it) that is the drain, on front about 1/2 way up you'll find an identical plug--with the car level, remove that plug, 75W90 synth should be up to the bottom of that hole--just drip out--when there, the level is correct.
