Default Malware virus warning!

My work computer has been infected with "pragmad.sys" which is a DNSChanger Trojan, after visiting this website and this website only, and it is nearly impossible to get rid of.

I have not run any issues like this at home, though I am running Firefox and different security software there. My guess is that it is taking advantage of some vulnerability in IE8.

I've also got the warning on my school computers. (Windows using Firefox & IE) But I don't get any warnings on my home computer. (Mac with Safari)

I don't visit TDIClub so I know I didn't get it there.

I'm getting the warning, as well.

Edit: on mac with safari 5. I've seen it at work on windows too. Very annoying

Exclamation The Org Advertisements are where the malicious software is coming from.

Ok, luckily, those of us on Mac's are pretty much safe from what is happening on the Org right now. But it's not the ORG exactly that is causing the problem.

Even though I'm on a Mac, I keep an antivirus installed and updated at all times because I work with files that go on PC systems for friends and most of them use Windows (and are infected with various stuff, so I clean their hd's up).

Anyway, when I logged into the org just now, I received a warning that the org is now an "attack site".

Google's systems have visited the org and tested 1071 pages over the past 90 days. During that time, 21 times malicious code inserted itself into Google's computer. That code contains 17 exploits for the computers that get infected.

But get this, it's NOT the Org itself that has the virus problem. It's the advertisements that are inserted into the org.

Google’s system (and my antivirus) reports that the malicious code is coming not from the org, but from at least 5 different domains that are used as the ad hosts. So it's all the advertisements!

I'm getting the same message. Also had this problem earlier this week on another forum I belong to. The owners had a heck of a time getting rid of the malicious ads that were causing it. I'm staying away until this clears up.

Same. At least at home. Didn't have problems at work yesterday but last night Firefox blocked me. On IE now. Staying on here to check the status of this...

While the reason for the block worth investigation, I didn't want to miss Firefox so I just removed the checkbox in Security options of FF not to check sites. I hope there is not that many malware for linux :-)

That's a relief in a way but fairly disturbing in 5 others! (I'm a mac user also.)

That's what happens when a site get's sold. New ads, new issues.
I'm gonna stay away now that chrome & firefox says to.

I'm assuming since Firefox is letting me on here, that the problem is fixed?
