Can a section be added for Ham Radio NB owners? I'm not sure how many there are, but it would nice to meet and talk about how Ham equipment is installed in NB. I'd be happy to offer my time to help get it started.
Thanks. KF5FJA Fort Worth, TX |

This would be cool if there were enough people...I'm currently trying to figure out if I should mount my radio in the car or not.

Make it simple and keep the wiring to a minimum. I put mine under the drivers seat and purchased a lip mount to the hatch on my bug. I have it posted under Audio on the forum.
It took me an afternoon to install it and I've found it's very directional. I use 2m and .70cm here in Fort Worth. Later I'll get a base station and leave it in the car. Go for it and have fun. Let me know if you need help. KF5FJA 73's |
